In-Person Archives Access

Looking to do some local history research? You may come to the museum and do research in our local newspaper archives from the St. Paul Star and Journal (1920 to 1983). Our fee is $25.00 per visit. 

 

Online Archives Access

For the simple fee of $25 for 6 months, you can have access to our online local newspaper archives from the St. Paul Star and Journal (1920 to 1983).

How do I gain access?

  1. All registrants require a gmail account, as you must be able to access Google Drive.
  2. Send an e-transfer to with your access fee. Please list your information, including your gmail address, in the particulars when sending the transfer.
  3. Once payment is complete you will be granted access within 3 days. If you have not heard from us within that time, please call us @ 780-645-5562, or email us using

I’ve got my access now what?

  1. Login to Google Drive.
  2. On the left hand column click Shared With Me.
  3. You should now see all of the newspaper archives seperated by year.
  4. If you require more help with searching and managing files please check Google Drive’s help page.
